California mom ‘slits son’s throat at hotel’ after dream Disneyland trip during custody visit

A Californian mom has been accused of slitting her 11-year-old son’s throat in a hotel room after a dream holiday to Disneyland.

Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer expressed on Friday: “The safest place for a child should be in their parents’ arms.”

He announced charges against Saritha Ramaraju, 48, who now faces a count of murder and the felony enhancement of personal use of a deadly weapon. It is alleged that she used a “large kitchen knife” to end her son’s life on Wednesday, March 19, at the La Quinta Inn & Suites in Santa Ana, according to police.

“Instead of wrapping her arms around their son in love, she slit his throat,” said Spitzer in a harrowing account of the betrayal. He spoke of the “And in the cruelest twist of fate, removed him from the very world she brought him into.”…
