PopUp Bagels Taking Over Southern California

PopUp Bagels, a rapidly growing bagel brand known as “Not Famous but Known,” is expanding its reach in California through new franchise partnerships in Los Angeles.

The company has signed agreements with James Marzouk of Sweetzer Capital to open 25 locations in Los Angeles and Orange County, according to a press release. Sweetzer Capital is a next-generation hospitality group and investor focused on scaling top consumer brands. With a young, ambitious team with extensive experience in real estate, operations, and brand strategy, Sweetzer adopts a hands-on, founder-led approach to growth. Additionally, PopUp Bagels has partnered with Paul Goodman and Griffin Thall, known as The Bagel Boyz, to open 10 locations in San Diego County over the coming years.
