The deadline is quickly approaching for residents across the US to update their license to a REAL ID. Californians will want to make sure they have the proper documentation ahead of any travel plans.
Residents must have the REAL or enhanced ID by May 7. If you’ve yet to update your card, you’ll need to have a valid passport to fly domestically or enter government buildings.
