EASTVALE, California — A retail theft operation at the Eastvale Gateway led to the arrest of six suspects and the recovery of over $1,000 in stolen merchandise, according to the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station.The operation, conducted by Eastvale SET deputies in collaboration with loss prevention teams at Target and Kohl’s, also resulted in the seizure of approximately $3,000 in counterfeit cash, fentanyl, and drug paraphernalia. One suspect attempted to flee but was quickly apprehended by deputies. Additionally, a known organized retail theft suspect was taken into custody, stated the source.
