Moreno Valley Man Arrested for Possession of Stolen and Unlawful Firearms and Explosive Ammunition

In Moreno Valley, a 22-year-old named Zarrien Streets has been arrested following a traffic stop leading to the discovery of unlawful weapons. According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department’s recent press release, Streets was found to have three unregistered firearms, one stolen firearm, and explosive ammunition on May 2. Conducted by the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station Special Enforcement Team, the stop occurred near Poppy Meadow Drive and Village Road at approximately 5:07 p.m.

Building on the initial findings, the Special Enforcement Team joined forces with the Riverside County Regional Gang Task Force and moved quickly to secure a search warrant for Streets’ home. Having served the warrant by 10:00 p.m. in the 12600 block of Bluntleaf Court, deputies located and seized three additional stolen firearms at Streets’ residence. The arrest and subsequent search culminated in Streets being booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center. He is charged with possession of stolen firearms, possession of loaded firearms, and possession of explosive ammunition…
