Two California burglary suspects arrested under state law enhancing sentences for repeat offenders

CHINO HILLS, CA — On May 7, 2025, two suspects were arrested in Chino Hills after deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Multiple Enforcement Team discovered multiple illegal items, according to the sheriff’s department.

Jose Vasquez, 42, and Alberto Martinez, 31, both from Norwalk, were contacted in the lobby of the Chino Hills Police Station, deputies stated.

Deputies learned they had active warrants and, during a subsequent vehicle search, found methamphetamine, stolen credit cards, a credit card skimming device, and burglary tools, according to deputies.
