Deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department San Jacinto station will conduct a DUI checkpoint later this week at an undisclosed location within the city.
The checkpoint will be held from 8 p.m. Friday until 2 a.m. Saturday at a location with notable data patterns of impaired driving-related crashes, authorities said.
“Impaired drivers put others on the road at significant risk,” sheriff’s Sgt. Patrick Lynch said in a statement. “Any prevention measures that reduce the number of impaired drivers on or roads significantly improve traffic safety.”…
