Riverside County Man Arrested and Charged with Murder of Four-Month-Old in San Jacinto

A harrowing eight-month investigation has culminated in the arrest of a Riverside County man in connection to the murder of a four-month-old baby, local authorities report. Alejandro Cuevas, aged 40, faces murder charges after being arrested by detectives from the Riverside Sheriff’s Central Homicide Unit and the Special Victims Unit.

On August 23, 2024, deputies were dispatched to an address on Whispering Bells Road in San Jacinto to aid a critically ill infant, who was subsequently transported to a local hospital.
