The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped 1.4 cents Thursday to $4.778, a day after dropping 1.4 cents.
The average price is 2.7 cents less the one week ago, two-tenths of a cent less than one month ago and 28.7 lower than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.715 since rising to a record $6.493 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The Orange County average price dropped for the 13th time in 14 days, decreasing 1.5 cents to $4.688, a day after dropping nine-tenths of a cent. It has dropped 8 cents over the past 14 days. The average price fell 10 consecutive days, was unchanged Monday and resumed dropping Tuesday…
