Youths with a yearning to go aloft and work in fields connected to aviation will have an opportunity Saturday to get a head start in their career development thanks to the “Aerospace Community Expo” at Riverside Municipal Airport.
“This event is more than just a showcase of aircraft — it’s about opening doors for our community,” Councilman Steve Robillard said. “We’ve partnered with industry leaders, educators and local organizations to create an engaging, family-friendly experience that connects students and families to high-paying, high-impact careers in aerospace.”
The inaugural expo, slated to start at 9 a.m. and run about three hours Saturday, will feature interactive exhibits, simulators, multiple aircraft static displays, free rides around the airport to early registrants and a host of booths staffed by representatives from aviation academies and schools with flying programs, according to organizers…
