Riverside County moving veterans services from Indio to Desert Hot Springs

Riverside County Veterans Services is moving its Coachella Valley office from Indio to Desert Hot Springs.

It will be leasing the city-owned Henry Lozano Community Center at Guy Tedesco Park, where it already has been offering benefits counseling and claim assistance twice a month since September 2024.

The agency decided Desert Hot Springs would be “the most strategic and accessible” place to expand and help veterans in the Coachella Valley and high desert. It needed more space than it had in Indio, and its services in Desert Hot Springs have been well attended, according to a city staff report…
