ISSAQUAH, Wash. — Costco plans to open its first-ever stand-alone gas station in Mission Viejo, California. The former site of a Bed, Bath & Beyond will be transformed into a fueling hub exclusively for Costco members.
Slated to open in spring 2026, the Orange County location will be Costco’s largest gas station to date, boasting 40 fuel pumps. Positioned just off the busy I-5 freeway and two miles from the nearest Costco warehouse, the new station aims to bring convenience and value to the retailer’s membership base in Southern California.
Unlike traditional Costco fueling centers, this station will not include a convenience store or warehouse. It is a pure play in high-volume, member-only fuel sales. According to the Orange County Register, construction is expected to begin this fall…
