The reconfigured interchange connecting the Corona (71) Expressway with the Riverside (91) Freeway in Corona is slated to be fully operational Monday, available to motorists, after more than two years of work.
The “71/91 Interchange Project,” underway since the winter of 2023, underwent final touch-ups that required closures through the weekend, but barring unforeseen hang-ups, the transition was set to be open for drivers transitioning onto either corridor by 6 a.m. Monday.
