The Corona Police Department conducted a high-stakes rescue operation earlier this month, and has a dire warning for parents about the risks of leaving children unattended in hot cars.
On June 17, officers responded to a report of baby left alone in a parked vehicle with windows rolled up and the engine off.
Responding officers arrived on scene, which was not disclosed, and observed that the baby was in the backseat and in visible distress.
According to Accuweather, the high temperature on June 17 was 96 degrees, and police said a thermo-device picked up an internal temperature of 110 degrees inside the vehicle…
