Wildfires are burning in multiple parts of Riverside County tonight, threatening homes, forcing evacuations, and stretching firefighting resources across the region.The Wolf Fire remains the largest, burning south of Banning since Sunday afternoon. The blaze has now consumed more than 2,400 acres and is only 40% contained. CAL FIRE confirms three firefighters have been injured while battling the blaze. Evacuation orders and warnings remain in effect, with residents scrambling to prepare as flames push into mountainous terrain near Cabazon. Highway 243 is still closed, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.To the west in Mead Valley, the Juniper Fire has exploded to 700 acres, fueled by strong winds. Flames are spreading southeast, prompting evacuation orders for over 5,000 residents. Citrus Hill High School has been set up as a family assistance center to support displaced families.
