Firefighters, Night-Flying Helicopters Battle Hemet Area Brush Fire

Hundreds of firefighters and four night-flying helicopters are battling an 1,165-acre brush fire south of Banning early Monday that is 0% contained and prompted evacuation orders.

The Wolf Fire continues to burn at a moderate rate in medium to heavy brush, according to Sunday night’s final update issued by the Riverside County Fire Department at 9:46 p.m.
