A six-day streak of decreases totaling 3 cents that dropped the average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County to its lowest amount since Jan. 29 ended Monday with an increase of two-tenths of a cent to $4.367.
The average price is 2.8 cents less than one week ago, 8.8 cents lower than one month ago and 30.4 cents below what it was one year ago, according to figures by AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $2.006 since rising to a record $6.373 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price was unchanged, remaining at $3.153 after three consecutive decreases totaling 1.9 cents, including four-tenths of a cent Sunday. It is 1 cent more than one week ago and 2 cents higher than one month ago but 36.9 cents less than one year ago…
