A flash flood warning was issued Friday for three counties, including Los Angeles, San Bernardino and Riverside, the National Weather Service announced.
The warning was put into effect at approximately 3 p.m. for Los Angeles County and will remain in effect through 6 p.m. Expect rainfall rates of 0.5 to 1 inch per hour could produce life-threatening flash flooding, debris flows, and landslides.
At 4 p.m., Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms in San Bernardino County with an expected rainfall rate of 0.25 inches in 1 hour. The flash flood warning for the area remains in effect until 4:45 p.m…
