Firefighters rescued a sick mule in Trabuco Canyon on Saturday.
“Eli, a 20-year-old mule, was stuck lying down on the floor of his stall, suffering from a severe bout of colic, which the very experienced equine vet told us if he did not get up, it would be fatal,” Orange County Fire Authority Captain Sean Doran told KNX News’ Emily Valdez.
