Moreno Valley man charged in 2006 double murder of brothers

Riverside, CA–Nearly two decades after the fatal shooting of two brothers in Moreno Valley, California, Riverside prosecutors have charged a local man with their murders.

The Riverside County District Attorney’s Office announced Wednesday that Richard Ferris, 50, of Moreno Valley, faces two counts of first-degree premeditated murder in connection with the killings of Louie Joseph Granado, 25, and Glenn Michael Granado, 34.

Ferris appeared in Riverside County Superior Court on Aug. 6 for arraignment, but the hearing was postponed at the request of his defense attorney. He is scheduled to return to court Aug. 19 in the Hall of Justice…
