RIVERSIDE, CA – “In mid-May 2025, the Riverside Police Department’s Sexual Assault – Child Abuse Unit (SACA) launched an investigation after learning that three children may have been physically abused by their parents at a home in Riverside. By then, the children had already been removed by Riverside County Child Protective Services and placed in temporary foster care. During the investigation, detectives also suspected the parents were trafficking illegal narcotics from the home.
On Tuesday, July 15th, SACA Detectives served a search warrant at their home in the 7900 block of Magnolia Avenue, with help from the METRO Team and Narcotics Unit. Investigators seized over 900 grams of suspected heroin, more than 300 grams of cocaine, approximately 155 grams of MDMA (ecstasy), and nearly 200 grams of suspected fentanyl pills. A large amount of cash and packaging materials were also recovered. The drugs were found in areas easily accessible to the children, and detectives believe the children were also exposed to the manufacturing and distribution of the narcotics.
Both parents, 31-year-old Miguel Jacobo and 34-year-old Alma Dominguez, were arrested and booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center. Miguel was charged with multiple felonies, including narcotics violations, child abuse, and child endangerment. Alma was also charged with felony child endangerment. Both are being held without bail…
