Border Patrol agent charged with assaulting Long Beach police officer is found dead at home

A U.S. Border Patrol agent accused of drunkenly fighting a Long Beach police officer was found dead in a Riverside County home, authorities said.

The body of Isaiah Hodgson, 29, was found around 12:45 p.m. Friday when deputies responded to a home in the 25000 block of Avocet Circle in the unincorporated area of Hemet, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

“When deputies arrived, they located the male and pronounced him deceased,” sheriff’s officials said in a statement. “Deputies did not locate any evidence of foul play.”…
