Car vandalized after shooting in Riverside that sent man to hospital in serious condition

A car was left with bullet holes and spray painted after a shooting in downtown Riverside overnight.

According to the Riverside Police Department, officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 3500 block of Lime Street around 2 a.m. and found a man suffering from gunshot wounds at the location when they arrived.

That man was transported to a local hospital and is listed in serious condition, according to RPD Officer Railsback.

“The suspect or suspects may have fled the area in a vehicle,” Officer Railsback stated.
