Cooling Center Open Today at Community Center in Response to NWS Heat Advisory

Beat the heat! The City of Chino Hills will open a cooling center for residents today, August 31, in response to the Heat Advisory issued by the National Weather Service. Residents are welcome to visit and cool off at the Chino Hills Community Center, located at 14250 Peyton Drive, from now until 4:30 pm. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Cooling centers are pet-friendly for household pets and service animals that can be reasonably controlled (limit three per person). Please bring proof of current vaccinations, crate(s) for your pet, and any supplies required to care for your pet (food, dishes, disposable bags, leash).

The Chino Hills Branch Library, located at 14020 City Center Drive, is an air-conditioned facility open during normal business hours, where residents may find some relief from the heat as they enjoy the services it offers…
