Police Responded 11 Times To Teen Celeste Rivas Hernandez’s Home Ahead Of Tragic Death

Before her disappearance and tragic death, 15-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez’s home in Lake Elsinore, California, was the subject of repeated police visits, new reports show.

According to TMZ, Riverside County sheriff deputies were called to Rivas Hernandez’s house 11 times between February 2024 and April 2025. A majority of those 11 calls were logged as “minor crime investigation,” while at least 1 was listed as “suspicious circumstances.” Four of the calls resulted in official reports, and police followed up on at least 3 of the calls.

Records indicate that on March 19, 2024, alone, police responded to 3 separate calls (2 to her home and the other to a nearby liquor store). The day of the 3 calls was the same day she was seen in surveillance footage at the local liquor store on the same block as the family home. Celeste’s sister went to the store after Celeste ran away to see if she was on the video and she was. There is a shot of Celeste running down the street and going out of frame. Then, a car pulls out, but it is unknown if she was in that car…
