KTLA’s Kacey Montoya hosts 5th annual golf tournament for her Fix’n Fidos foundation

KTLA meteorologist Kacey Montoya was not in studio as usual on Sunday morning, as she was out in Dana Point hosting the 5th annual Fix’n Fidos Golf Tournament.

Kacey’s Fix’n Fidos foundation raises money for spay and neuter surgeries for low-income Southern California residents who may want to adopt a shelter pet but don’t want any offspring. The foundation also helps with unexpected vet bills so that owners don’t have to surrender their animals due to lack of funds.

Also in attendance were many supporters, golfers, neighbors and members of the KTLA family, including sports reporter David Pingalore, fellow meteorologist Vera Jimenez, anchors Glen Walker and Frank Buckley and KTLA jack-of-all-trades Kirk Hawkins.
