The Cielo Fund at the Inland Empire Community Foundation is celebrating three years of investing in and uplifting Latino-led organizations and initiatives across the region.The fund has raised roughly $3 million from community donors; money that organizers say allows them to reinvest directly into the Inland Empire through grants, scholarships and local partnerships.Over the past three years, the Cielo Fund has awarded more than $250,000 in scholarships to students pursuing college degrees or career training programs, aiming to strengthen the local workforce and expand opportunities for families in the Inland Empire Riverside and San Bernardino counties.“These nonprofits are addressing everyday issues like housing, food insecurity, and childcare,” co-founder Angel Rodriguez said. “Many families are working hard, but their paychecks don’t always cover the essential services they need—like healthcare, childcare, food, and housing.”As it continues to grow, the fund’s mission remains…..
