UPDATE: The cyclist killed was identified by coroner’s officials as 45 year-old bike racer and church pastor Eric John Williams of Garden Grove, California. He leaves behind his wife and four young children.
Sad news from Southern California as Huntington Beach Police (HBDP) report just after 06:45 on Monday three male cyclists out for an early morning training ride were hit from behind by an alleged DUI driver, with one rider pronounced dead at the crash scene and the others transported to hospital with serious injuries.
The Orange County coroner’s office has yet to release the name of the man killed, pending notification of his family. The names and conditions of the other two cyclists have also not been released…
