The last true significant speedway race held in Southern California took place on December 28, 2013 in the form of the World Speedway Invitational 3. Staged inside the Industry Hill Expo Center’s Grand Arena, the World Speedway Invitational brought together a lineup of world class international speedway riders going to war against a roster of America’s best and most talented competitors.

World class speedway returns to Southern California this weekend as the Third Edition of World Speedway Invitational will take place inside the Thunderdome at Industry Hills Expo Center in City of Industry, California. Set to run on Saturday, October 25, the World Speedway Invitational will bring together the fastest and most high profile speedway racers in the world and see them go to war on a frantic 1/8-mile bullring of a track.
And as the former iterations of the event were promoted by speedway organizer and former racer Kelly Inman, so too will the World Speedway Invitational 3 at the Industry Hills Expo Center Grand Arena. Among the most prolific and established names in speedway racing the world over, Inman is both enthused and thrilled to bring world class speedway competition back to one of the sport’s worldwide bastions of popularity, Southern California. Over the weekend, we tracked down and caught up with Kelly Inman to get a read on this Saturday’s world class event.
Kelly, where are you at today?…
