Jurupa Valley family robbed by armed fake FBI agents

A Riverside County family was held at gunpoint inside their home last week after three armed men claiming to be FBI agents forced their way inside, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department reported.

The incident occurred just after 9:45 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 23, at a home on Manline Drivein Jurupa Valley. Ring doorbell camera footage shared widely on social media showed three masked suspects wearing jackets and badges resembling those of federal agents. The footage captured the suspects pounding on the front door and instructing the family to let them in under the pretense of executing a search warrant.

Deputies arrived about 10 minutes after the suspects entered the home. According to sheriff’s officials, the intruders restrained the family members while they searched the home and eventually fled with property belonging to the homeowners.
