Coachella Mayor Steve Hernandez was arrested Tuesday morning on felony charges following an investigation by the Riverside County District Attorney’s Public Integrity Unit.According to jail records and a city spokesperson, Hernandez, 42, was taken into custody on October 28, 2025, at 10:35 a.m. and booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside.
