Imari McGhee, a student at Norco College in California, has received the 2025 100 Black Men of the Inland Empire (100 BMIE) Umoja Scholarship. The $1,000 award recognizes her academic performance and leadership. McGhee is majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Management and has a 3.33 GPA.
She holds associate degrees in Administration and Information Systems, Social and Behavioral Studies, and Child/Adolescent Development, as well as two teaching certificates. McGhee plans to become a kindergarten or first-grade teacher. She cites her early educators as inspiration.
