Off-duty ICE agent arrested for assault after ‘threatening a random Hispanic teenager with a gun’

Last week, a 45-year-old man from Riverside County who is allegedly employed by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement is accused of unlawfully holding a child at gunpoint while he was not on duty.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department reports that the incident occurred on Nov. 10 at approximately 10:30 p.m. outside a residence in Temecula’s 32000 block of Daybrook Terrance in California.

The 17-year-old was driving home after dropping off a friend down the street when he noticed the suspect, named by detectives as Gerardo Rodriguez, pointing a gun at his car and demanding that he pull over, according to attorney Greg Kirakosian, who represents the child and his family, who spoke to KTLA…
