Police Fatally Shoot Suspect During Crowbar Incident Near McKinley Street in Corona

On November 18, 2025, Corona police responded to reports of a man swinging a crowbar at vehicles near McKinley Street and Promenade Avenue in Corona, California. Officers located the suspect, who was holding a metal tire iron. After he did not comply with commands to drop the weapon, police shot the suspect. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators later found that the suspect had used his vehicle to hit another car that was occupied, resulting in moderate injuries to the other driver.
