Pasadena Police K-9 Team Earns Honors at Riverside County Sheriff Trials

Pasadena Police Officer John Lewy and his K-9 partner, Barry, earned top honors at the 28th Annual Riverside County Sheriff K-9 Trials in Norco, securing three placements in the explosives detection category.

Lewy and Barry won second place in vehicle searches, third place in article searches, and third place overall, according to the Pasadena Police Department. The competition, held Nov. 14 to 15 at the George Ingalls Equestrian Event Center, is regarded as one of the most respected events in the law enforcement K-9 community.
