Two Riverside County firefighters sustained minor injuries after battling a house fire in the PGA West community of La Quinta on Saturday, November 29.The fire was first reported shortly after 2 p.m. in the 81000 block of Kingston Heath. When crews arrived, they found a single-story home with smoke and flames visible from the roof. Additional fire engines and utility crews were requested to support the containment effort.By approximately 3:48 p.m., fire officials confirmed the blaze had been contained. No nearby homes were impacted, and no civilian injuries were reported.The two injured firefighters were transported to a local hospital for treatment. Their injuries are considered minor.The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
