A pedestrian died Friday evening after being struck by a vehicle in Riverside, authorities said.
The City of Riverside’s Emergency Dispatch Center received multiple calls around 5:21 p.m. on Dec. 5 reporting a collision between a white sedan and a pedestrian near the intersection of Magnolia Avenue and Polk Street. Riverside Police and Fire personnel responded to the scene and found the pedestrian with major injuries. He was transported to a local hospital but later succumbed to his injuries, officials said.
