Much of Southern California will be under an poor air quality alert for much of the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.
The areas under the alert are expected to include much of the greater Los Angeles area along with parts of Orange County and the Inland Empire. The alert is set to begin around Friday at midnight and last until Sunday evening, according to the NWS.
