Suspected fentanyl trafficker killed by police in Southern California

Police shot and killed a suspected narcotics trafficker in San Bernardino County Wednesday afternoon, authorities announced.

In a news release, officials with the Fontana Police Department said that officers responded to the 17100 block of Foothill Boulevard near the intersection of Mango Avenue and attempted to detain an adult male “wanted in connection with the sale and trafficking of a large quantity of narcotics, primarily fentanyl.”
