Riverside County CalFresh Recipients Can Request Replacement Benefits After Winter Storms

Riverside County residents who lost food purchased with CalFresh benefits during the recent winter storms can request replacement benefits through Jan. 22.The state extended the typical 10-day reporting window to 30 days after storms that began Dec. 23 brought heavy rain, flooding, power outages and road closures across California. Statewide, officials estimate 1.7 million CalFresh households were affected.
