A stretch of Interstate-10 in the Inland Empire is expected to remain closed into the morning on Thursday, Jan. 15, as travelers are urged to consider alternate routes.
All lanes were closed on the westbound I-10 at Interstate 15 in Ontario early Jan. 14, according to Caltrans. The closure began from San Antonio Avenue in Upland to the I-15 junction, according to the Caltrans highway conditions tracker before 7:30 a.m.
CHP and Caltrans did not immediately respond to the USA TODAY Network for more details about the closure. KTLA reported that in the early hours of Jan. 14, “multiple vehicles struck a beam that fell onto the roadway.”…
