Court reporters for the Riverside County Superior Court system are holding picketing demonstrations on Thursday as union contract negotiations with the courts remain ongoing.The demonstrations are taking place at 11:30 a.m. outside three courthouses: the Larson Justice Center in Indio, the Hall of Justice in Riverside, and the Southwest Detention Center in Murrieta.Court reporters say they’re pushing for higher wages and fair compensation, along with solutions to staffing affecting courts across the county.The Superior Court of California, County of Riverside, has not yet responded to a request for comment.
