A driver was killed the morning of Friday, Jan. 16 in a single-vehicle crash at Fred Waring Drive and Cook Street in Palm Desert, said the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies from the Palm Desert station responded at 10:20 a.m. and found a single-vehicle collision with “major collision damage,” Sgt. Emil Stan said in a press release.
The driver was the only occupant of the vehicle and suffered critical injuries, Stan said. Cal Fire responded to assist, and the driver was pronounced dead at the scene…
