The Riverside County Coroner has identifiedthe driver who died after crashing their SUV on Fred Waring Drive in Palm Desert on Friday, Jan. 16, as Jamie Licht, a 20-year-old woman from Riverside.
The crash occurred on Fred Waring Drive, just west of Cook Street, at around 10:20 a.m. Lt. Deirdre Vickers, a spokesperson with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, told The Desert Sun it was a single-vehicle collision but did not provide additional details about how it occurred.
