A Rancho Cucamonga man was arrested after he allegedly kidnapped and tried to kill his former romantic partner early Sunday morning.
A woman at a motel in the 1200 block of North Grove Avenue in Ontario reportedly screamed for help, prompting a call to the Ontario Police Department just before 3 a.m. Sunday, they said in a press release.
The woman was gone by the time officers arrived, but using a license-plate reader, police tracked the woman and her alleged abductor to Arrow Highway and San Bernardino Avenue in Upland, where they found the woman, a 34-year-old from Rancho Cucamonga, had sustained “severe facial injuries and road abrasions.”…
