Fiery, multi-car crash on 210 Fwy in Southern California leaves 2 hospitalized

Two people were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision in lanes of the 210 Freeway in Glendora that sparked a car fire Tuesday evening and left traffic on the freeway backed up for miles.

Officers with the California Highway Patrol responded to reports of the incident in eastbound lanes of the freeway at Sunflower Avenue around 5:40 p.m., officials confirmed to KTLA.

Details are limited and it’s unclear what caused the accident, but aerial footage from Sky5 showed what appeared to be a minivan or SUV pulling that had been pulling a U-Haul trailer, both of which showed extensive damage after firefighters extinguished the flames.
