Felony Conference Pushed Back for Cabazon Mother Accused in Baby’s Death

Rebecca Haro, the Cabazon mother accused of murdering her infant son and falsely reporting him as kidnapped, appeared in court Wednesday morning at the Riverside County Hall of Justice.Haro’s felony settlement conference was postponed and is now scheduled for March 26th, 2026. The delay marks the latest development in a case that began last August.Investigators say Rebecca Haro and her husband, Jake Haro, initially reported their infant son, Emmanuel, as kidnapped in Yucaipa. Authorities later determined that the kidnapping report was false, and both parents were arrested in connection with the child’s death.In October, Jake Haro pleaded guilty to murder and additional charges. He was sentenced in November of 2025 to 25 years to life in state prison, the maximum sentence allowed under the law.Despite the guilty plea and sentencing, authorities say the remains of baby Emmanuel have still not been located.Rebecca Haro remains in custody as the case continues through the court…..
