A new legal filing is putting renewed pressure on Riverside County Animal Services, as attorney Walter Clark says animals are still being euthanized despite ongoing court action.Clark joined Fred Roggin to explain that his law group has now filed a new petition seeking an injunction against RivCo Animal Services. The original petition focused on forcing compliance with California’s Hayden Act and stopping what Clark describes as unlawful killing of shelter animals.According to Clark, little has changed since that filing.He says the county continues to euthanize animals while legal issues remain tied up in appeals, calling the delays “an absence of justice” for the animals involved.
