On December 15, 2025, a fire occurred inside the woodshop at Clubhouse 4, prompting a response from the Orange County Fire Authority. The fire was contained by the building’s sprinkler system, but fire and water damage impacted the woodshop and surrounding areas, temporarily disrupting operations. Crews subsequently assessed the damage and began cleanup and demolition work.
That work is now complete, clearing the way for the next phase of recovery. A containment has been installed to allow reconstruction to move forward while keeping a majority of the woodshop operational, with activity resuming alongside ongoing repairs.
Final testing of woodshop equipment is scheduled for the first week of February to ensure all systems are safe and fully functional. If all goes as planned, the woodshop will reopen on Friday, February 6, 2026, marking the final step in restoring a well-used and well-loved community space…
