Aluminum Auctions
RIVERSIDE (CNS) – Roughly 22,000 tons of high-grade aluminum alloys that were seized by U.S. Customs and Border Protection in 2017 will be sold at auction beginning next month in Riverside, with the proceeds supporting domestic manufacturing, recycling and federal law enforcement missions.
CWS Marketing Group and Amentum will conduct the auction at 11 a.m. Feb. 19 at the Amentum Auction Facility, 6711 River Run Road. The sale will offer two lots totaling nearly 20 million pounds.
A second auction is tentatively scheduled for May, with more than 24 million pounds stored in 625 shipping containers available…
